Centopassi Motomarathon June 25-28, 2010

This ride, named after the famous Centopassi annual endurance ride in Italy, will cover some of the most significant sport-touring roads in Colorado, paying special attention to the highest mountain passes, scenic canyons and remote high plateaus. While "Centopassi" means “100 passes" in Italian, we won't actually ride 100 passes, though it might feel like it while averaging 400 miles/day for four days.

The ride starts and ends in Boulder (on Friday, June 25th and Monday, June 28th, respectively). Registration begins, and routes for Day One will be handed out, at 7:30 p.m. the Thursday night before (June 24th -- exact address to be determined, so stay tuned to this site). This ride will go town-to-town, with routes handed out at 7:30 p.m. the night before, and optional riders' meetings at 7:30 a.m. each morning, at the following locations:

Friday night, June 25th, Sheraton, Steamboat Springs -- (800) 848-8877
Saturday night, June 26th, Ouray Chalet, Ouray -- (970) 325-4331
Sunday night, June 27th, Rocky Mountain Inn, Paonia -- (970) 527-3070
Monday night, June 28th, Awards Dinner in Boulder, location TBD.

Please contact each hotel and make your own reservations ASAP. They have agreed to discounted rates (say you're with the Motomarathon Group), but are only holding our block of rooms for a limited time. You may make other arrangements in Ouray and Paonia/Hotchkiss as these hotels fill up quickly, and may not have enough rooms for the entire group, so make your reservations at least 60 days in advance. You are responsible for your own accommodations, transportation and equipment.

Our generous sponsors, Ducati North America, Aerostich and Wolfman, have provided significant awards to be distributed by a drawing for those riders who finish all checkpoints.

To register, please join the Motomarathon Association (submit waiver and $25 annual fee by clicking on "Join Now" below), plus a $75 event fee that entitles you to other swag, listing in the Motomarathon standings, and a commemorative Aerostich silk scarf! More details to come....
